We Launch Lincoln - Ladies Launch Lincoln
Ladies Launch Lincoln was created in 2013 by Amber Pankonin and Jill Liliedhal who were frustrated with being outnumbered and under represented as females in the Silicon Prairie. We quickly evolved into a tribe of women who not only encourages each other, but provides both mentorship and support to the the strong, fierce female entrepreneur in our community.

We are a group that is open to everyone. Whether you have an idea of a business you want to launch or you’ve been running your business for 20 years, we are here to support you in your journey. More importantly, we are not an exclusively female group. We encourage everyone to attend. We recognize and celebrate the fact that each of us play a very important role in the support of the female entrepreneurship ecosystem.

You, me. October 25th 6:00-8:30. Let’s do this.

Being a human is hard. We are faced with obstacles that, at times, can make our self confidence waiver and have us doubting our decision to take on the role of boss. Fearless is here to help you not only find your inner genius but learn how to be brave enough to kick the door down and say to the world, I’m ready to rock it.

Fearless is a 28-day challenge that has been designed to teach those who are working in the startup world or have a burning desire to change the world with a new business idea how they can overcome their fears, grow their confidence and rock the world.  The techniques that are interwoven into the program are based on research and real life implementation.  It will help you discover your genius so you can do more than you thought possible.  A lot more!

The program is two parts:
First, from 6:00pm – 8:30 on October 25, 2018, you will take part in an in-person training with me, Marianne Chance Worthington!  During the in-person training, I’ll walk you through the Fearless philosophy and provide you with the tried-and-true tools that provide you with the foundation to building a more confident you.

You’ll learn…
Why we have fear– how to recognize it, and what to do when it creeps up…or knocks you down.
How we can rewrite our stories– observing and changing the stories we tell ourselves (toxic thought habits). We all have them. And until we get real about their existence we will never be able to rewrite the narrative.
How we can act as if-from the moment class is finished you’ll have the tools to  start practicing how to fake it confidence until you become it. Hey, practice makes perfect, and will a little bravery and action you’ll be surprised and delighted as to how confidence completely change your world.
Do it-We’ll spend time talking about how to find opportunities to be brave, to be the hero of your own story. You’ll have an actionable plan that you can start working,  at 8:31, on October 26th.
After the in-person training, the real hard work (and incredible life changing challenge) beings. For 28 days we’ll be hosting an email challenge. You’ll be pushed, you’ll discover, and by the end, you’ll me amazing at yourself, and all you’ve accomplished. We’ll walk you through how to define what means the most to you, or your values. You’ll be challenged to begin to rewrite the stories you tell yourself, and we’ll challenge you to be brave, like really brave. And most importantly we’ll be there to encourage you to do learn to do more than you thought possible. And we mean more, a lot more.
Also, aside from our email challenge, you’ll get access to:
  • Our private Facebook group, where you’ll be able to share your stories and we’ll be there to answer questions, and support you as needed.
  • Also, we’ll host special Facebook Q&A sessions with rockstar people who will share their stories and be available to answer your questions about confidence, personal branding, leadership, and so. much. more.
  • Also, Fearless will have popup sessions where you can come, have a cup of coffee, and enjoy building a tribe that will last waaay longer than 28 days.
All this…for just $97.00. It’s a tiny investment in you.

So, how does all this work? Well, sign up!

Mark your calendars, and let’s do this.

EnviroRun: Environmental Policy & Politics
Join with your colleagues-at-large on a fun four-mile run. Network about the ins-and-outs of the environmental community and how you arrived at where you are today. Come with an open mind and enjoy the scenic Lincoln views.

Our panel of speakers will discuss why it's important to get out and vote, why it's important to vote with conservation in mind, and will even talk about some of the cool new policies coming up on the municipal and state levels.

This event would be a great way for startup employees to network with Lincoln's environmentally-minded professionals and citizens. There will be an informal run at 6:30pm, and the panel of speakers will begin at 7:30pm in the art gallery. There will also be snacks and beer.
