Techstars Startup Week Lincoln 2018

The session will focus on intellectual property protection for startups with a specific emphasis on critical timing requirements as well as patent filing strategies to help minimize early-stage expenses.

The SCC Entrepreneurship Center is partnering with the UNL Weibling Entrepreneurship Clinic to offer a FREE small business seminar later this month. Student attorneys from the UNL Weibling Entrepreneurship Center will discuss the basic steps of filing a trademark application, legal and financial benefits of trademarks, and ways to overcome hurdles throughout the registration process.

This seminar will be conducted live from the SCC Continuing Education Building, room 213.

Come learn about legal structures for social enterprises, associated benefits and legal obligations, and whether forming a social enterprise is right for your startup.
